THOMAS HIGH TEMPERATURE RESISTANT ADHESIVE

           FOR BONDING MAGNETIC MOTORS

DESCRIPTION: THO4058+8 is an epoxy adhesive developed for bonding magnet tiles or high-capacity magnetic motors that require high bonding strength to resist mechanical impact, vibration and high speed and high temperature-resist ability to resist thermal shocks. The adhesive cures at room temperature, which makes the bonding process easy.

                                   Part B-light yellow liquid

MIX RATIO:                        3(Part A) to 1(Part B) by weight

POT LIFE:                          40 minutes

CURING SCHEDULE:                24 hours @ 25掳C

                                   5 hours @ 80掳C

                                   3 hours @ 100掳C

DENSITY:                          Part A 1.3-1.5 g/cm3

                                   Part B 0.9-1.0 g/cm3

MIXED VISCOSITY:                  6000 Pa路s @ 25掳C

GENERAL INFORMATION:

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:   Stir both components before using, Add Part

                          B to Part A and mix slowly and thoroughly in a

separate container.

APPLYING INSTRUCTIONS: Make sure that the bonding surface is free of

oxide, oils, dust, moisture and other

contaminants. To get the best bonding

strength, sandblasting or coarsening

treatment may be suggested. Apply the

mixture to the surface and add some pressure

to get the best strength. If it is used to fill the

narrow cavity, make sure to exclude bubbles

before the mixture is cured either by heating

up slowly or by evacuating from the furnace.

You can apply the mixture either by hands or by dispensers.   

SHELF LIFE:   24 months @25掳C in unopened, unmixed containers. Store

or ship them at room temperature. NO freezing is

required.

HANDLING:   Use product with adequate ventilation. Keep away from

sparks and open flames. Avoid prolonged contact with skin

and breathing of vapors. Wash with soap and water to remove from skin.
